Why does it feel so hot?!

It's 69 degrees out, but I'm sweating! Maybe it's just hot in here... christ...

Hmmm... opened my window, cool breeze... nice... I don't understand why it's so hot in here, though, the heat's not on, and no lights are on, just the computer. Oooh, that is nice though. Cool breezes are a good thing. It's a damned gorgeous day outside, I'm tempted to take the baby out, but I dunno where the hell we'd go. I'm also still feeling sick and I'm really tired too. Still...

(No, I'm not a bad father, but I have no car, and I live in a mostly-suburban area. Having no car is really crippling around here, but I just can't afford one, currently. I play with them inside a lot, though, and once I get a car, I plan on bringing them out regularly. Crossing some of the streets around here, with a baby, to get to the nearest park, though, gives me the willies. The drivers around here really suck... even with the school crossing guard blocking traffic in the morning there've been a couple of times we've almost gotten hit as I brought my son to school. WTF? Some drivers literally don't even look before turning around here. For some reason, they all suck. They aren't quite this stupid in other areas I've lived in. Sigh.)

Hehe, amusing tidbit: I can tell when Outlook Express checks my mail, because my mp3 recording starts skipping... ;) (I put on error correction, overlapping, multi-sampling, etc. etc. etc. so it shouldn't affect the final recording... we'll see.)
