Mapping sexiness

So there's a new version of Yahoo Maps, which is decent, although I think not particularly different from Google Maps: http://maps.yahoo.com/beta/

However - HOWEVER! - one of the Yahoo developers made a really cool app with it, giving you a real-time interactive event browser:
http://api.local.yahoo.com/eb/

The only problem with it that I can see off the top of my head is that there's no way to type in a zip or address to center the map; you need to zoom out, drag it to your area, zoom in, and continue adjusting until you find the right spot. It's not hard, it took me 30 seconds, but it's just a silly limitation considering how powerful and intuitive the rest of the application is.
