If you live somewhere they cover (which includes NYC but also many other cities), you can get gift certificates for dining from Restaurant.com. Ok, so what's the big deal? Well, the average price for a $25 gift certificate is $10 - so you save $15 right there. In addition? There's a 50% off discount code, meaning you suddenly get that $25 gift certificate for $5 - and no one said you can't use it on yourself, or a friend, or whatever.

So yeah, go check it out - getting a $25 meal for $5 isn't bad. ;)

P.S. The 50% discount code is 10417 and it expires today so don't wait too long to try it out. I just tried it; it worked; I got around $200 of gift certificates for $43.
