One kid wrote that the President should be polite. Another that the President should be nice. Another said that the President should have a big pile of food and drink to give to all of the homeless people. Another said that the President should be strict (but still nice).
J's was a little shorter and more direct than some. He wrote (I'm going to paraphrase):
"A good President should be smart. If he's not smart, then he won't know what he should do. The President needs to have good ideas."
If he was there right then I'd have picked him up and hugged him. That's my boy.
(Please note that he said nothing about drinking beers with him. Can someone please get my son the right to vote and have about half of the Midwest struck from the voter rolls?)
