I don't know why I still bother watching tv, because every show I've seen this season has sucked.
Alias has embarked in a "brave new direction", basically meaning it looks like they ran out of ideas and so threw everything out and wiped the slate mostly clean so they could try again. Maybe it'll get better in time, but right now it seems like they're just flailing.
The Lyon's Den was atrocious - I mean, really, it was embarrassing. Rob Lowe made a big mistake in leaving the West Wing - while the WW wasn't exactly world-class cinema, it was certainly better than this crap. The writing is terrible, the directing is weak, and the acting is so-so at best, varying between overplayed, underplayed, and just plain misplayed. Ugh, I say, ugh.
I finished Lawrence of Arabia, but I have to say I was so tired I kept falling asleep during it and I need to watch it again to really appreciate the second half. What I did stay awake for was good, though. *cough*
Dinner at my mother's place went well enough, I suppose. We all had a nice time, and it was nice to see her again, and to see my cousin again. I helped her get her cell phone working, since she's a bit of a technophobe. Blah blah blah, more babbling. I'm tired and a bit grumpy.
