Of course, I'm enjoying this way too much to let him get away with that. So, I replied too.
Sorry, maybe you really are functionally illiterate. Let me point out
two things.
1.) If you follow the link as it said, towards the bottom, you'll find
an input box with this text:
"To change your subscription (set options like digest and delivery
modes, get a reminder of your password, or unsubscribe from
gnome-2-snapshots), enter your subscription email address:"
Note the word "unsubscribe". I know it's a big word, but you obviously
can recognize it since you screamed it to all of the subscribers.
2.) The page it takes you to is admittedly long and would take at least
5 minutes to read through, so I can understand how you might give up and
just send an email, However, if you actually read the instructions in
the email list you were trying to remove yourself from, you might have
seen this below:

That's a quote, and it was quoted in the email you replied to.
So while your advice is sound, you might want to try /following it
yourself/ next time, and maybe you'll seem like less of a jackass.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Tang
I couldn't decide between "Yours Truly" and "Sincerely" so I settled for "Sincerely". Now I'm having second thoughts. Hmmm.
