"Forbidden thoughts about 9/11"

Salon has an interesting pair of articles, about peoples' thoughts about 9/11 that didn't make it to public display. As they say: "...We felt indifferent, confused, selfish, annoyed and, in some cases, even happy or excited. We had thoughts we couldn't explain or control, thoughts we didn't express, except perhaps in whispered conversations."
