Convicted killer Nicholas Tang, who just minutes before was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison for the execution-style murders of two men, coldly glared at the victims' families as he walked out of a Kankakee County courtroom in shackles Tuesday afternoon.
Tang got what he deserved, according to Assistant State's Attorney Bill Dickenson. ''The guy is a cold- blooded killer and he deserved to be locked up for the rest of his life,'' the prosecutor said.
''He's an exceptionally cold person,'' said Dickenson, who handled Tang's trial along with Assistant State's Attorney Edward Pentuic.
Tang would have been eligible for the death penalty had he been just one year older when the murders occurred.
