One gripe: I HATE when they speed up the action. I know, I know, it's actually slowing down the camera, shut up. I'm tired of trying to explain it to people that don't know, so I just generally say "speed up the action". Anyways... it annoys the fuck out of me. I have no problem suspending my disbelief about things like them running across walls, or jumping 30 feet in the air, or using his sleeve as a battering ram and smashing through walls... that's fine. But when they speed up the action, everything speeds up, so it just looks silly. When Neo moved faster in The Matrix, everything else moved slower, which is as it should be. That worked. Speeding up everything is just silly and bothers me. The actors they use have freaking phenomenal amounts of skill and agility, there's no reason to not let them show off what they can do at normal speed - or slightly faster speeds. Doing it so it's fast enough that you notice the difference is annoying.
Agree? Disagree? I don't care, it annoys me, and if it doesn't annoy you, light your hair on fire. If you're bald, like your pants on fire. If you're bald and nude, and you still persist in insisting that it's ok... well, this time you're off the hook. But I've got my eye on you, [mister|missy], so no more of that tomfoolery or you'll really get it.
