El-Cheapo Eats-o

If you live somewhere they cover (which includes NYC but also many other cities), you can get gift certificates for dining from Ok, so what's the big deal? Well, the average price for a $25 gift certificate is $10 - so you save $15 right there. In addition? There's a 50% off discount code, meaning you suddenly get that $25 gift certificate for $5 - and no one said you can't use it on yourself, or a friend, or whatever.

So yeah, go check it out - getting a $25 meal for $5 isn't bad. ;)

P.S. The 50% discount code is 10417 and it expires today so don't wait too long to try it out. I just tried it; it worked; I got around $200 of gift certificates for $43.

Tell Congress to Investigate the 2004 Election

Dear friend,

Questions are swirling around whether the election was conducted honestly or not. We need to know -- was it or wasn't it?

If people were wrongly prevented from voting, or if legitimate votes were mis-counted or not counted at all, we need to know so the wrongdoers can be held accountable, and to help prevent this from happening again.

Members of Congress are demanding an investigation to answer this question. Join me in supporting their call, at:
