For those of you that haven't seen it yet, Batman: Dead End is a great little fan film. It's cheesy - of course! The acting is only so-so at best. But the Batman costume is the best one I've ever seen - it isn't some huge, rubberized version of an Iron Man suit done in black and black, it's got black leather gloves and cowl and boots, and the actual costume itself is made of gray fabric - not rubber, not metal, not huge amounts of padding, just fabric.
Of course, you need to have a muscled person playing Batman to pull it off, and you're not going to get nearly as much (fake) definition, but it just looks so much better - it looks like you'd expect an "actual" Batman to look. The mask, too, is much lighter and less encumbered than most versions, and allows the actor to show a little more facial range - plus it doesn't make his head look quite as ridiculously huge as in some Batman flicks.
Anyways, the movie's only 8 minutes long, so you can afford to download it. Check it out, and see if you don't agree with me - I really wish the new Batman Begins had a costume more like that and less like the nippleriffic rubber mess that the Batsuit has become in the movies.
Compare it, on the other hand, to the Batman Begins suit:
